Such a catchy tune! As with many old songs, you can hear it and long-forgotten memories of what you were doing at the time just come flooding back.

This particular song also has an air of innocence, when there seemed to be more of a focus on romance and courtship that often seems to be the case these days. Marriage was the goal of many young people and the wedding day the highlight of their lives.

At The Chapel Bar we believe in romance and in helping those that want to get married create their perfect wedding day. We have years of experience in hosting wedding receptions and completely understand and value the importance of your wedding day. We will help you choose your perfect menus, décor, entertainment, photo booth and everything in-between. We have gained a well-deserved reputation for being an outstanding wedding reception venue and pride ourselves on the high quality of food and excellent service standards we offer.

We can offer you the choice of two different areas – or combine them together. There is the ground floor which has the Saloon Bar which can seat 80 guests (or 180 standing), and the first floor Terrace Room which can seat 22 guests (or 80 standing). Both areas have a private bar with a wonderful choice of wines, cocktails and cask beers.

To set the celebratory mood, the Saloon Bar also has a large dedicated dance floor complete with professional lighting and sound equipment.  Whether you prefer recorded or live music, we have a wide range of excellent contacts – including DJs, bands, acoustic and Spanish guitarists – and can help you to find the perfect entertainment for your celebration.  If you have guests looking to wind down, they can turn to the Terrace Room which has an adjoining heated and covered terrace garden.

We can offer a range of food options from buffets and three course a la carte options to canapés or finger food on arrival as well as snacks for the evening.
