We Know Christmas and We Know Parties: Here’s to Many More to Come
September 11, 2018The Chapel Bar’s Guide to Luxury. Let’s Party on into Christmas 2018.
October 14, 2018So it’s time to start planning for your Corporate Christmas Party. Instead of giving yourself a headache, you can follow our easy-to-digest guide to party planning. Alternatively, why not let someone else do most of the leg-work for you. This month we have provided you with our run down of some of the most important party planning must-haves to make your Corporate Christmas party the talk of the office, well into January. It doesn’t have to be a bore to get your event underway; and it will be totally worth the forward planning.
Guest List
You may not need a guest list if you are throwing a free-for-all, boozy office Christmas party. Everyone will no doubt be invited along for the ride. But for a more formal affair and on the basis of a book-your-place party, having a guest list to hand can be a godsend. Guest lists can help you to organise seating plans, space requirements and travel; and can also help you to keep track of any special dietary needs when you are in the midst of your party planning. They are also important to help compose your invites and ensure that you don’t forget anyone; as well as to keep track of who is attending, as your RSVP’s come flooding in from all different angles. The guest list has of course got the potential to change as the date draws closer, so keep these to hand for editing, as and when needed.
Planning the Night
Advanced planning is a must for any event or party. Deciding on the timings of different aspects of your night will help things run smoothly and ensure that nothing is forgotten. It also comes in handy for ensuring that everyone gets the most that they can out of your corporate Christmas party – or any party for that matter. You may have some guests who would love to join you for a sit down meal, but cannot make the entire evening; and others who would rather pop along for a good old knees-up later in the night. Providing a basic schedule will make sure that everyone has the chance to be included in your celebrations in a way that suits you and them.
Choose a Theme that Everyone can Enjoy
Party themes are never in short supply. Get everyone on your team involved and take a vote on the best theme for your corporate Christmas party. If you’re stuck for ideas then we’ve been busy looking at all the best ones for you these past few months. We’ve given you a few ideas in previous blogs, which you can find here; and there are hundreds more to choose from. Let your imagination run wild and make the night as crazy, magical or fun as you like.
Entertainment
As the saying goes, go big or go home. Show your guests how to party in style with live music, captivating entertainment, sumptuous food and drinks that flow all night long. Not only do we have a whole range of Christmas packages and menu choices, but our events team can help point you in the direction of and help you to organise entertainment for your party. Our bartenders also have a trick or two up their sleeves and can mix a few pretty cool cocktails. We’ve even got some festive inspired ones to share with you just for the Christmas season.
Location, Location, Location
